Dress Code

The appearance of members and guests is a key ingredient in the atmosphere of Overbrook Golf Club, and the Club is committed to maintaining a very high standard in this regard.

Ballroom, Main Bar & Living Room, Solarium, Walnut Room, and Card Room

Jackets are required for gentlemen and comparable attire is required for women. Mixed Grille dress will apply when specified.

Mixed Grille, Piano Bar, Dining Patios, Men's Grille, and Locker Rooms

Casual Club or Golf attire is required. Men's shirts must be tucked in. Not permitted are sweat-suits, tank tops and swimming attire. Denim of a solid color without frays and tears is permitted. Men must remove caps and hats in the Clubhouse.

Pool, Racquet Hut, and Bowling Alley

Swimmers are not allowed outside the pool area in swimming attire. Regulation tennis shoes are the only footwear permitted at the tennis facility. All players must wear collared or dri-fit shirts. Denim of a solid color without frays and tears is permitted. 

Golf Course

Golfers are required to wear acceptable golf attire. This includes spikeless and soft spike shoes, no metal spikes allowed. Not permitted are jeans, T-shirts, swimming attire, and track or cargo pants or shorts. Golf shorts of Bermuda length are permitted. Turtlenecks, mock turtlenecks and other appropriate golf shirts are acceptable. Golf shirts shall be worn tucked in at all times.

Club Rules

Smoking

Unless outdoors, smoking is forbidden throughout the facility. 

Bowling Alley

The bowling alley may not be used unless an attendant is present. One may not bowl unless wearing appropriate footwear.

Parking

Parking shall only be permitted in designated parking spots. Anyone parking outside of such a spot shall be subject to receiving an "Overbrook ticket" which will carry a twenty-five dollar ($25.00) fine which will be added to the member's monthly statement. Once three such tickets have been accumulated, the car will be towed at the owner's expense.

Fitness Room

No child under the age of 21 years may use the exercise room unless accompanied by his or her parent.

Men's Locker Room

No one under the age of sixteen years shall be permitted in the men's locker room. A child under the age of sixteen years may pass through the locker room to use the restroom only if accompanied by an adult. A child aged sixteen or seventeen may be served in the men's locker room only if accompanied by an adult. Those eighteen to twenty-one may be served in the men's locker room without being accompanied by an adult but shall leave immediately upon finishing their food.

Pool

The lower parking lot should be used if going to the pool. Children should not be dropped off in the circle or at the entrance to the Pool Bar and Snack Bar.

Ladies' Locker Room

No one under the age of sixteen years shall be permitted in the ladies' locker room. A child under the age of sixteen years may pass through the locker room to use the restroom only if accompanied by an adult.
