Arrival to the Club
When arriving to the club, please pull up to the bag drop area and see the attendant for assistance. Overbrook Golf Club is a private facility, all play must be member accompanied and guests must be escorted by a member while on property. All guests must be sponsored by a member and play with the sponsoring member, unless under a reciprocal arrangement that has been approved by our Golf Professional. Any guest must be identified in advance to the Golf Shop, so that the staff can assist them upon entering the Club. A staff member will greet you to take your golf bag and direct you to our locker room. Our locker room attendant will be on duty and provide you with a locker to change your shoes and store your personal belongings. It is the member’s responsibility to insure that their guests play at the required pace. A round of golf at OGC starts with the Caddie Master. You must check with him, or the Golf Shop before the start of a round.

Caddie Information
We have 3 categories of caddies at Overbrook GC. Caddies are not employees of Overbrook Golf Club and are therefore not subject to the same expectations as OGC employees. Based on their experience, they are separated into three distinct categories.
- Student (red bib)
- Honor (green bib)
- Professional (grey bib)
Student Caddies have a suggested rate of $40 to carry a bag*
Student caddies are as the title describes. These are first year caddies that have begun to orientation process. I will continue to monitor their progress throughout the season and address any comments I receive from the player. I welcome any feedback that the player may have to help the student caddie with his/her growth as an Overbrook caddie. The expectation from a student caddie to carry one bag, provide yardages, keep your equipment clean and repair the course. Most will not be comfortable providing green reads or club suggestion. It is my opinion that student caddies need 30 loops before they really start to feel comfortable, but each will progress at their own rate.
Honor Caddies have a suggested rate of $55 for each bag they carry. Suggested Forecaddie rate is $25 per player. *
Honor caddies have at least 1 year of caddie experience and have the ability to carry 2 bags and also forecaddie. This category has a strong knowledge of the course and may assist you with reading the greens and any suggestions you may seek.
Professional Caddies have a suggested rate of $70 for each bag they carry. Suggested Forecaddie rate is $35 per player. *
Professional caddies are the highest level of caddie at Overbrook, and as such, provide the highest level of service.
The Caddie Program’s success is reliant upon a collective effort of the caddies, members and the Caddiemaster. It is imperative that members provide feedback to the caddie as their contractual obligation is solely between the two parties.
Additionally, feedback is encouraged to be provided to the Caddiemaster if the caddie’s performance does or does not match expectations. We need your feedback after each round so we may continue to build this program. If you have a preference on the level of caddie you prefer or a specific caddie, please contact me and I will try to honor those requests.
Thank you.
